The villa situated on the left side of the property (as seen in photo above) is composed of two identical levels, rented separately.
Each level has two bedrooms with Queen size beds, each opening on
a balcony, a bathroom with shower, a well appointed kitchen and adjoining living room.
Both living room and kitchen open with wide louver doors, onto a private veranda for your meals and leisure time, overlooking the pool and gardens, a mountain and on the right side that secluded cove, great for swimming and snorkelling in the Caribbean sea.
The two levels can be rented together to accommodate larger groups.
The villa on the right side as seen on the above photo, has a lower level rental apartment that is composed of one bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a well equipped kitchen, a living room and a long veranda.
All three rooms (bedroom, kitchen and living room) open with wide louver doors onto a private 40 foot (12 meters) veranda for your meals and leisure time and overlook the same views of the pool, a mountain, the secluded cove and the Caribbean Sea. (a 4 minute walk down a nature path from the villas).
All bedrooms and living rooms are appointed with ceiling fans and floor fans for your comfort and each bedroom has mosquito netting over
Queen size beds. The bedrooms also have large closets with drawers.
We have a 4 car private parking area (well lit at night) and the villas are accessed by a downward wooden staircase.
A car rental or taxi can be arranged for your arrival, whether it be in the North at the regional airport of Vigie a 30 minute drive, or in the South at the international airport of Hewanorra, an hour drive.
On your arrival at Pomme d’Amour you are greeted by your hosts Josee & Pierre who will show you around your apartment and its surroundings and offer you some ice cold rum punch (fruit punch for the children) and little things to eat.
A bit later if you so wish, Pierre would drive you down in the bay for your first dinner under the stars and pick you up when you are done.
Whether your taste be of Creole cuisine or more international, the bay offers a great choice of fine restaurants. We will happily help you out with your choice.
For your first breakfast, you will find all you need in your refrigerator, plus some good coffee, tea, fresh water, orange juice and fresh seasonal fruit.
Then if you wish you can go down to the bay at the grocery store and bakery, or to the city for your food shopping.
A visit to the local exterior market is always appreciated by everyone. You will find locally made baskets, paintings, and an array of West Indian fresh spices, local fruits and vegetables and also freshly caught fish.
The market is a highly colourful place,
one not to be missed.
The salt water swimming pool and its very large wooden deck are surrounded by lovely fruit trees, flowers and tropical plants. The deck is well furnished with lounge chairs and parasol for those who wish some protection from the sun.
As you come back from your afternoon activities, the pool awaits you for a refreshing dip and unless you choose to dine out at any of the wonderful restaurants in the bay, or elsewhere on the island, a Bar BQ is always there to be used.
As the sun goes down on the ocean, the crickets and tree frogs begin to harmonize and the lights go on around the deck, inviting you for a moonlight dip… the perfect recipe for a romantic Caribbean evening…
